The Medieval Literatures is a research center based in UC Santa Barbara’s English Department that provides an empowering space for discussion, research, and the recovery of historical voices. The Center is the home of the undergraduate medieval specialization as well as the graduate interdisciplinary emphasis in Medieval Studies. We also offer exciting events for graduate and undergraduate students that foster collaborative learning through innovative approaches, while also working in concert with other organizations on campus to support events like the bi-annual Medieval Graduate Student Conference.
